    Sharp 24 Stud 59A Style Ford Flathead Cylinder Heads

    These are the Cylinder Heads & Manifolds that made 10% MORE POWER than any other brand ever tested by Tony Capanna himself on the Indy winning world famous Wilcap Dynamometer. And they look great too! Designed and until recently manufactured by Flathead and drag racing legend AL Sharp! All Sharp heads still incorporate support and directional flow ribs over each dome as well as flow below the bottom row of studs and additional material over the combustion chambers allows up to .375" pop-up domed pistons.

    Heads are machined to your specifications to match your engine. Combustion chamber volumes from 53 to 80c.c.s, valve pockets from stock to + .500". All heads come with a spec. sheet showing exactly what compression ratio will be obtained when used on a particular displacement engine. Special compression ratios, valve clearences, domes, etc. cut on request.

    Just like the heads, these intakes were designd by Al Sharp based on his experience with making flatheads go fast.

    All manifolds have carb heat risers and the 3X2 allow for the use of 97's or 94 carberators.

    Late style manifolds have the road draft and fill tube holes.
